WHO WAS WHO:
A Past-Life Directory Based on the Edgar Cayce Discourses.

By Elyse Curtis, P.h.D.

In the Edgar Cayce psychic discourses, the first reference to transmigration of the soul was given on April 22, 1911 in a Physical Reading [4841-1]. The first specific mention of a past life came in Reading [5717-1] in 1923 in response to a request for an astrological chart. From the unconscious level, the man was told that the urges from his previous life on earth were more important than the planetary influences. At the end of the discourse, the sleeping Cayce casually mentioned that the man had been a monk in another life. This information, which conflicted with Cayce's traditional conscious belief, presented a dilemma at first, but eventually led to what became the Life Readings, the source of the Who Was Who.

An amazing collection of 7,498 past lives paralleled with those of relatives and associates gleaned from the files of renowned American seer, Edgar Cayce: the most extensive source of data on pre-existence, individual and group karmic interaction.

Along with the more than 250 incarnations of noted historic and Biblical characters ranging from Aaron Burr to Zebedee, including pharaohs, kings, queens, apostles, philosophers, saints, pirates, artists, composers and statesmen, incarnations of a host of other persons weave together a continuous picture of life on Earth from prehistoric Atlantis, Lemuria, Gobi, India, Egypt, Peru, N. America and Yucatan; the civilizations of the Ohm, the Inca and the Maya through WWII and sheds illumination on many confounding questions including:
