Science of Light "Behold he comes

During the late
1960's and early 70's, I lived in a professional apartment in On the night of The blue light
appeared again on As time went by,
I forgot about the Mass and went about my life. Eventually, I received my
doctorate in Religion and Transpersonal Arts. Some time later, a series of
"coincidences" led me to do post-doctoral work at The All Faiths
Seminary International, where I was required to create a service. It then
became clear to me that the Mass of the Revelation had been given to me as
the Liturgy for my ministry. This epiphany
gave birth to Revelation Theology: the study of God through the concepts
of the Book of Revelation. The Rev. Dr. Elyse Curtis |

The great
commandment that Jesus gave to his disciples to "love one another, as I
have loved you and love your neighbor as yourself" has ever been the
central, unwavering message of Christianity. Without losing sight of that
message in theory, if not always practice, the religion has gone through many
phases in its development: from its earliest beginnings with the Apostles,
when they first began calling themselves Christians, through Gnosticism, the
mystical approach to divine knowledge, to the formal liturgy of Roman
Catholicism, to the differences in the Eastern Orthodox church and the many
Protestant denominations that rebelled against Papal authority, to the
Pentecostal, evangelical approach of the Assemblies of God, to the healing-oriented
Church of Christ Scientists. In the
evolutionary process, this next phase of Christianity, Evolved Christianity,
focuses on the controversial teachings of Jesus in the Gospels that are
generally ignored or overlooked to bring into context the power of
meditation, the body, mind, spirit connection, the reality of cause and
effect, and rebirth of the spirit in the physical. In addition to
the accepted rites and rituals such as baptism and the Eucharist, this next
phase of development involves a new liturgy, the Mass of the Revelation,
whose objective is enlightenment and union with the Universal Spirit of God
through contact with the higher self within. As another step
in the evolution of Christianity, this form of worship incorporates the
mystical aspects of Christianity as they apply to people of all faiths. By
the use of ritual, prayer and meditation, this service takes the participants
through the stages of awakening, opening, and purification of the seven
spiritual centers of the body as revealed to John, and contacting the Christ
Consciousness, the light within. |

Science of Light
literally is the knowledge and study of the Christ Consciousness, the spirit
of light of the beginning. The name,
"Science of Light" came from an Edgar Cayce reading given July,
1944 for a 45-year-old Social Science teacher. He was told to take the simple
story of Jesus of Nazareth as his study knowing that Jesus was the same
soul-entity who had been Jeshua, the scribe who had translated the rest of the
books of the Bible when reestablishing the worship of God on the return of
the Jews from captivity; that he had been Joshua, the mouthpiece of Moses,
the channel through which Moses received the commandments; that he had been
the entity Melchizedek, who manifested to Abraham from the desire of
Father-God to prepare an escape for man; that he had been Enoch, who warned
of the same, that he had been Adam and the spirit of light of the beginning. In his study,
the teacher was to understand why the spirit of life, the spirit of light, of
hope, and of desire to know the truth, must be greater than scientific proof,
and yet it [the study of the spirit of light, etc.] is the science of light,
of truth, of love, of hope, of desire, of God.
In the study of
the spirit of life, light, truth, love, hope, and God, Science of Light
