Celebrating the Coming New Day
Edgar Cayce on the Coming Changes Within and Without “Today there is the looking forward to the coming of the Prince of Peace, the new era.” 2067-2 While the coming earth changes in the Cayce files refer literally to the physical changes that will take place in the planet as does those given in the Parousia, the second coming, they also refer to the expectancy of a change in consciousness in this new day that heralds: “the Christ Consciousness, the coming of that force or power into the earth that has been spoken of through the ages.” 5749-5 Anticipation of the coming new day, though viewed with a mixture of joy and fearful trepidation, is nevertheless an expectancy to be celebrated through union of purpose. “For, the principle, the theory, the basic line of the new day is that GOD is One; and the union of purpose of individuals, of the hundred forty and four thousand, makes it possible for that to come into the experience through MATERIAL manifestation.” 2067-2 “He shall appear even AS the Lord AND Master. The Second Coming Because the Bible is written on three levels: literal (historic), spiritual and metaphysical (Cayce 281-31), the “second” coming of the son of man also refers to all three levels. As Jesus says and Cayce reiterates, as to the time, no man knows. (Mat 24:36) 17. (Q) He said He would come again. What about His second coming? (A) The time no one knows. Even as He gave, not even the Son Himself. ONLY the Father. Not until His enemies - and the earth - are wholly in subjection to His will, His powers. 18. Weekly Report July 31, 2010 We are privileged to share our reports with the NE Region groups and welcome them to join in on any discussion. Our exercise in awareness this week dealt mainly with three stories. Two: Wikileaks and President Obama on “The View” had to do with the sixth angel: no place to hide and mass consciousness, and three: bull fighting banned in Catalonia (relation to calf beast and the first spiritual center, the seat of propagation). The most delightful part of the class occurred after our reading in Chapter 12 in The Commentary on The Revelation. We then rapped it from The Ballad of The Revelation. Great way to learn while participating! We decided we would rap every week. Next week we have a Special Guest lecturer, Rev. Tim Chambers, but August 14th we will begin The Ballad anew from chapter one and invite those out of towners who follow the group to join in. The first two verses below will help you get the cadence. Serving two Masters
Jesus said you cannot serve two masters and connected it to money: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Mat. 6:24, Lu. 16:13)
Question of the Week? Why would anyone become involved with an organization whose work they do not really believe in, who in fact practice the opposite, and whose allegiances are elsewhere? Can it be that they are really following the other master: mammon or worse?

Armageddon Myths and the Parousia
The Armageddon myths, the end time prophecies, the issue of global warming, and the coming earth changes described in the Edgar Cayce files can all coincide with the predictions of the Parousia, the second coming, in the New Testament.

Weekly Report July 24, 2010 In addition to the climate changes we have been experiencing, our exercise in awareness this week included the Chinese photos of UFOs, Inception, a breakthrough film about dreams and another story of deception, this one about Shirley Sherrod, the USDA worker, which involved critical spiritual centers. - The Chinese photos of UFOs brought to mind the descriptions in Oahspe, one of the books Cayce had been questioned about (2067-002) - Inception, the film about dreaming now reaching mass consciousness was reported to deal with lucid dreaming, which most of the group had experienced, and invasion of other people’s dreams, which was noted as actually being an insidious practice taught along with out-of-body practice by certain groups to control others, which is easily checked on the internet, but is denied by those being controlled, who are programmed to forget. - Shirley Sherrod, a USDA worker whose videoed speech was taken out of context to show her as the opposite of what she was. In this one, the deception of the second spiritual center in conjunction with the evil of fourth: worked together to release the edited information to mass consciousness and set her up for condemnation. The fear of the third and the lack of awareness of the fifth led to the wrong conclusion and hasty action. However, the complete story truthfully recorded at the 6^th level emerged. #2 - (Smyrna: Temptation, synagogue of Satan, insincerity) - Devious attempt by person taking the video out of context and releasing it to mass consciousness to discredit the person, setting her up for condemnation #3 - (Pergamos: Debts, fear and anger, stumbling block): - Fear of being labeled a racist becomes a stumbling block causing a rush to judgment #4 - (Thyatira: Evil, love/hate, fornication) - Evil, hateful intent of person releasing edited video to discredit the person #5 - (Sardis: Will, awareness, imperfect) - Lack of awareness of truth of story and failure to verify edited video before taking action against the person #6 - (Philadelphia: Name: perfect, open door which no man shuts) - The complete story truthfully recorded at the 6^th level was accessed and vindicated person defamed and vilified In this case, the powers that be allowed themselves to be misled by a devious setup and judged and humiliated her before ascertaining the truth. However, because all things work together for he who loves the Lord, which the worker proved by her actions really helping the elderly couple, what seemed to be a terrible humiliating situation may be a bonus because it defused a myth that affects the entire country. Awareness Lesson: It is wiser to ask a question than to make an incorrect assumption. Signs of the Apocalypse
While symbolically The Revelation refers to the pattern of the physical body, the entire Bible is written on three levels: literal (historic), spiritual and metaphysical (Cayce 281-31). In The Revelation, John’s account also relates to the past, present and future: “That which is, that which was and that which is to come.” (Rev. 1:4) The Seven Signs of the Apocalypse, therefore, should be viewed on all three levels.

Weekly Report July 17, 2010 In current events we looked at how the attributes of the second and sixth spiritual centers dominated at the mass consciousness level of the internet. Trumping the story of the spies and the defector/abductee? on networking and video pages was the on-going story of the audio telephone conversations. That one, originally made possible by the attributes of the first spiritual center also prominently involved the second, third, fourth and fifth spiritual centers of The Revelation and their angels related to the key words in the Lord’s prayer: #1 - (Ephesus: Bread: propagation, left the first love) Cause of creation of the situation on which the story was built #2 - (Smyrna: Temptation, synagogue of Satan, insincerity) Devious setup by person making the recording #3 - (Pergamos: Debts, fear and anger, stumbling block): Reactive emotion displayed by the person who was setup #4 - (Thyatira: Evil, love/hate, fornication) The obvious change from one emotion now to the other by both #5 - (Sardis: Will, awareness, imperfect) Lack of awareness of the language being used or of having been set up #6 - (Philadelphia: Name: perfect, open door which no man shuts) Both sides are now a part of the mass record from where they will next be judged by a higher authority based on true motives © 2010 Science of Light. Tribute: Delores Bagley
Christmas ‘01 Colorful SOL Celebration June 6, 2001		Delores Bagley was a very talented musical theatre performer and director who responded to a Science of Light casting call for Gentle Spirit Chorus. She sang with the group at the SOL Musical Celebrations, on the CD, “Rites of Spring,” and with us at the ARE Holiday parties. It was a joy to work with her those few years before she returned to her heavenly home in June 2004. Science of Light held a memorial for her on July 2004. As a literal angel, Delores, left a generous bequest to the ARE of NY Center. Science of Light honored her with a little photo card that named her as an ARE benefactor, but which has unfortunately been removed. However, in the hope that someday she will be honored in the customary way for her actual bequest, it was recently brought to the attention of Board Member, Paul Dorogoff, who attended our memorial for her. In any event, I’m sure her spirit knows that SOL thanks her for having shared her talents with us. We consider her one of our angels and keep her soul in our prayers.
Letters The heartwarming response from Ruth Fortel about our tribute to her reinforced our effort to continue honoring those deserving persons who have contributed so graciously. Ruth Fortel also informed us that she is currently collecting and writing up her story with the ARE, starting with the first Search For God groups started on 35th St. We still hope that some day the library will bear her name.

Who Were Those Other Gods?
Request for the second program in the summer in the city film/lecture series came from a question “What happened to all the old gods?” *Were they the other gods spoken of in the Bible (Joshua 24:14-15), the other gods served by the children of Belial (Deut. 13:13) or were they just mythical? *Were they the gods mentioned in the Cayce files: the Gods of the natural forces (1158-5, 364-11, 288-27) or gods and the other gods (378-16)? *What does it mean in the Bible “Ye are gods” (Ps. 82:6, Jo. 10:34, Is. 41:23)? *Who were the Gods (Elohyim) of Genesis I? Happier Days in the Sunshine ARE Picnic in Central Park 2003 Norman Curtis, Elyse Curtis and Ruth Fortel			Ruth Fortel, longtime Search For God and ARE member who began at the 35^th St. Center is one of the longest serving volunteer member of the NY ARE after Daniel Livingston, and myself, who began volunteering at the 16th St. Center. She has also been on payroll from Headquarters as Secretary of the center when it was in transition before closing. Ruth has single-handedly cared for and preserved all the vital archives and faithfully transferred them to the second affiliate, where she resumed her role as volunteer librarian. As one of our important elders, she deserves our respect and thanks for all she has done over the years. Hopefully, we will honor her someday by re-dedicating the library in her name. I am grateful for the archival history she has shared and the lecture she gave at Science of Light. We wish her to know that we love her and keep her in our prayers through her infirmity. - EC

Weekly Report July 10, 2010 This week, the sixth, fourth and second angels and seals of the Revelation figured in our discussion. The Spies (Sixth Seal) We were aware of the throw back to the cold war era with the arrest and swap of the Russian spies, especially the connection to the akashic level of mass consciousness where there are no secrets, symbolized by the networking sites on the web like Facebook used by some of them. In the Revelation when the sixth seal was opened there was no place to hide from the face of him that sits on the throne. (Rev. 6:12,16) In Defense of Mother Theresa (Fourth Angel) A new awareness came with introduction of a book that mentioned the vile and vicious attack on and mocking of Mother Theresa by a self-proclaimed pseudo guru, who also disparaged Jesus, and the verification of this on the internet that led to more disturbing exposure of this person and his group. The unanimous response from the members of The Revelation study group was that it was envy, that he was jealous especially of her Nobel Prize. The fourth angel of Thyatira relates to charity (Rev. 2:19) and the thymus, the heart center that is also the seat of jealousy/envy. While the oil spill and its relationship to the warning in The Revelation not to hurt the oil and the wine continued to be of concern and a focus of our prayer, the second spiritual center figured prominently in another discussion and initiated our special segment: Cayce No Nos. © 2010 Science of Light. Cayce No Nos
While often diplomatically put to magnify the virtues, there are quite a few instances in the Cayce files where the answer is “no” to certain practices when warning about their dangers. The majority of times, the danger is to the fifth center of the will (the church of Sardis). The bottom line is always to use your own will and go directly within and to the Master of Masters, not to look across the sea for who will bring the message. The Dangers of Yoga Breathing - (The Angel of Smyrna) One of the mildest warnings in the Cayce files is about the dangers of yoga exercises in breathing. During this part of our discussion, the discourse on that subject given for a physics research director was shared with the group because of its relationship to the (the church of Smyrna), the cells of leydig center, where the creative nature of the soul is expressed. By breathing, this center expands and the other centers are opened. The warning was that the exercises could be “beneficial or detrimental in their effect upon a body” (2475-1). Also, because its expansion puts one in a universal state of consciousness, it warned: “To allow self in a universal state to be controlled, or to be dominated, may become harmful.” (2475-1). The questions that followed centered on how to determine which yoga teacher to study with, which led back to the will. What is Millennium Hospitality?
Written as fiction for his own protection, Millennium Hospitality is a trilogy of books by Charles Hall about his experiences while serving at Nellis Air Force Base. They document his day to day duties as a model of a human observed by aliens and as somewhat of a “baby sitter” chosen by top brass for “tall whites” and their children who are said to have been using Earth as a pit stop for centuries and are located in a secret underground facility at Nellis. As unlikely as it seems, his story sounds credible and is considered to be pivotal in UFO research because it links varying reports. A fourth book in the series gives more detail of the covet involvement with space aliens. Acceptance of Charles Hall’s story as is being presented in the “Summer in the City Series” is up to the individual.

Response to June 24, story of why John the Baptist was called least in the kingdom of heaven because he forgot to be humble and meek
Interesting that John the Baptist forgot to be “humble and meek.” Perhaps he even felt a bit self righteous as he heckled and harassed Herodias. Do you see some Karma here?  When Jesus told the disciples that “Elijah had come already and they did to him whatsoever they pleased,” it was then “they knew he spoke of John the Baptist.” As Elijah (1KI 18:40) he slew Jezebel’s priest of Baal. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” (1KI 19:2) To me, Jezebel swore vengeance on Elijah. Although it did not happen in that life, eventually it came through a woman when John the Baptist's head was delivered on a platter at the request of a woman. So that struck me and reminded me of what the Cayce reading said about not swearing vengeance on anyone. Let us remember to always be meek and humble in all that we say and do. Enjoyed the lesson. Weekly Report Saturday, June 26, 2010, because two board members were in attendance, a report was given on an incidence that took place at our meeting on June 19 when we met in a smaller room. To preface that incidence, the facilitator read a quote from the Cayce files: (Q) Is it possible for this body, Edgar Cayce, in this state to communicate with anyone who has passed into the spirit world? (A) The spirit of all that have passed from the physical plane remain about the plane until their development carry them onward or are returned for their development here. When they are in the plane of communication or remain within this sphere, any may be communicated with. There are thousands about us here at present. 3744-1 That we are surrounded by thousands of discarnates, and the dangers presented by those who do not move on timely, is fully understood by those who are aware. Those who assume that discarnates are either non-existent or are all here to bring some sort of message, instead of being trapped souls who are hanging around because they still have issues or attachments, and in many cases are seeking bodies in which to express those physical desires, not only are vulnerable but open others to the possibility of possession. Great benefit can be derived from reading the Cayce files on possession and reading the Biblical stories, especially those in which Jesus, the Christ, healed those possessed with many discarnates as in (Mar. 5:6-13)(Lu. 8:27-33), when he sent the legion of discarnates into thousands of pigs. It behooves us all to surround ourselves with the protection of the Christ against the unseen forces as suggested in (262-3, 262-19) and (281-5, 276-6). Serving two Masters Jesus said you cannot serve two masters and connected it to money: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Mat. 6:24, Lu. 16:13)
Question of the Week? Why would anyone become involved with an organization whose work they do not really believe in, who in fact practice the opposite, and whose allegiances are elsewhere? Can it be that they are really following the other master: mammon or worse?What do you think?

Enigma Surrounding John the Baptist
Why Was the Least in the Kingdom Greater Than He? What we learn about John the Baptist from the Bible is *the prophecy of his birth and mission, *that he was a cousin of Jesus, *that as an adult he became an ascetic who wore skins and lived on locust (St. John’s Bread) and honey, *that he began preaching to prepare the way of the Lord and baptizing, even Jesus, in the Jordan, *that he had followers, *that he lambasted the Pharisees and harassed Herodias and *that he was beheaded at the request of Salome. The question remains, why did Jesus say: “For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” (Luke 7:28, Mat. 11:11) The answer may be found in Jesus’ definition of the least in the kingdom of heaven. At the end of the Sermon on the Mount and speaking of fulfillment of the Law, Jesus said: “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Mat. 5:19) According to this, the least in the kingdom of heaven are those who MISLEAD OTHERS: those who break the commandments and teach others to do so! So what was it about John the Baptist that prevented him from being not as great as the least in the kingdom of God?
New Light on JB from the Edgar Cayce Files
Among the enlightening information on John the Baptist in the Cayce files is that he, like his cousin, Jesus, was an Essene, that both studied abroad and took their initiations together in the Great pyramid. (2067-7) (3175-3 F 43, 5749-8, 16) Also, in a discourse for a woman who was told to use her charisma to teach about the love of Jesus, is the answer to why John the Baptist was least in the kingdom of heaven: "Who would be the greatest among you? He who is the servant of all." When you find individuals too good to do this, or that, for others, something is the matter with their theories, and the soul is shrinking, they are little. REVELATION AWARENESS FACTOR More on being spiritually aware Saturday, June 5, 2010, we held our first special prayer for healing of the planet at 8.p.m. with the present group and those joining us in spirit. The healing presence in the room was immediately present and felt by all. We plan to continue praying for forgiveness for the damage our species is inflicting on the planet and its other creatures. As related to the second spiritual center and the injunction to "…see that you hurt not the oil and the wine" (Rev. 6:5-6), the ramifications are great on all three levels: individually in the body, mentally at the Level of mass consciousness and as historic fact. If the connection between the second and the sixth center is broken, death occurs on that level. The second center, the seat of the soul is equivalent to the son of man in the earth and the sixth to the son of God at the heavenly level. Information in the Science of Light film on Spiritual Healing that followed the group coincided with the Revelation Study. Science now agrees that the cells of leydig, which are said in The Commentary on the Revelation to move, have been discovered not only in the second spiritual center (the lyden) but in the sixth (the pineal) and the seventh (the pituitary: the master gland). Looking at the injunction to the second center about the oil and the wine on the historic level, movement is involved. A connection was made with The Revelation as it relates to the body and the seven spiritual centers: the symbols of the seven glands of the endocrine system that release hormones into the bloods stream, and is periodically given over to song. A discussion of the concept of music as the bridge between the finite and infinite and, Sousa’s The Fifth String, which had been recommended to Vincent Lopez by the sleeping Cayce, followed. This reinforced our use in the group of the songs of the Revelation from the musical as an integral part of the study and meditation for spiritual growth. In connection with the on-going Revelation symbols manifesting in current events, we dealt again with the on-going, unprecedented oil spill disaster in the Gulf and the voice when the third seal was opened: to "…see that you hurt not the oil and the wine" (Rev. 6:5-6). Because of the fact that it had reached the 28^th day without being resolved, our focus turned to the lake of fire (Rev. 19:19-20) as a symbol to watch. The meaning of Speaking in Tongues New Light on the Pentecost from the Edgar Cayce Files
Speaking in Tongues or glossolalia: the gift of tongues, which was bestowed on the apostles at Pentecost from the Holy spirit, is described by the Cayce source not as gibberish, but as the apostles speaking in their own language and being heard by foreigners in their native languages. A current analogy would be a speaker at the United Nations speaking in the native language, which is translated to the other delegates in their own languages. “In those activities then that followed the Crucifixion, and the days of the Pentecost, and the Sermon or teachings - and when there was beheld by Lucius the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, when Peter spoke in tongues - or as he spoke in his OWN tongue, it, the message was HEARD by those of EVERY nation in their OWN tongue - this so impressed Lucius that there came a rededicating, and the determination within self to become the closer associated, the closer affiliated with the Disciples or Apostles.” (294-192 M 60, February, 11, 1938) Lucius of Cyrene, who became the bishop of Laodicea was an incarnation of the soul who later became Edgar Cayce according to the akashic records. He is credited in the files as having written the book of Luke. This information was not given to Cayce until his latter days because the source said it would have made his head swell. It is probably safe to say that it is from that life that he inherited his overwhelming love for scripture, so much so that he read the Bible through once for each year of his life and his language of the discourses is in a biblical vernacular. REVELATION AWARENESS FACTOR Saturday, May 15,2010 our discussion of Revelation symbols manifesting in current events dealt again with the on-going, unprecedented oil spill disaster in the Gulf and the voice when the third seal was opened: to "…see that you hurt not the oil and the wine" (Rev. 6:5-6). Opening of the third seal referred to opening of the second spiritual center (the church in Smyrna) the symbol of the seat of imagination (the Lyden) that is opened after the third spiritual center (the church in Pergamos), the symbol of the energy center (adrenals) has been opened. Taking the injunction to the beginning: “A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny and see that you hurt not the oil and the wine" adds commercialism to the warning not to misuse the spiritual gifts. Focus expanded to the missing data and similarity of black boxes to the ark of the testament: the book of life, the akashic memory that survives. - While Ascension is traditionally celebrated 40 days after the resurrection, the Cayce files from the Akasha puts it at 50 days after the resurrection. Revelation Study Group Report
The Awareness Factor “For, will is the factor that makes for growth in the soul's sleep through the earth's experience.” 259-8 No matter where we are in our Revelation study, we are always cognizant of the injunction given to the Angel of the church in Sardis (the fifth center, the seat of the will) to “Be watchful” (Rev. 3:2). Because our whole journey to ascension hinges on being aware, that injunction comes up every week in the Revelation Study Group. Awareness recently came up in reference to an item in a wonderful article about Zoroaster in the current issue of Venture Inward Magazine. The article contained new, interesting information on Zoroaster in addition to that from the Cayce files that Zend, the father of Zoroaster, had been an incarnation of the soul who incarnated as Jesus. However, it said that Jesus Christ was Zend’s next incarnation. Members of the group, who had been aware from Science of Light lectures on the incarnations of the master from the Cayce files were aware enough to see that the time-line was off and that there were centuries of missing lives in-between.
