Midnight Meditation at ARE Born in the Tradition of Watch Night Celebrates 47^th Year

First ARE New Year's Eve Midnight Meditation

In the 1960's, when the center of the first ARE of New York affiliate created by Hugh Lynn Cayce and David Kahn was located on 16th Street in Chelsea, I was a regular at the Wednesday night prayer for healing group. One Christmas my niece, Cassandra, a devote Catholic, came to visit, so I decided to take her to Christmas Eve Midnight Mass at St. Patrick's. When we arrived at the cathedral, we discovered that it was necessary to have tickets to attend. This disappointment was the inspiration for a New Year's Eve midnight "meditation" at the ARE where entrance would be assured. Instead of going to church to observe New Year's Eve's Watch Night Service, as was the custom in my family, I proposed that we hold a midnight meditation at the center as the early observers had done in their homes. Nell Clairmonte, Shane Miller, Danny Livingston, Vernon Enoch and I attended that first ARE of NY New Year's Eve Midnight Meditation. The practice stuck and happily continues by the Prayer for Healing Group facilitated by Paul Dorogoff and Norman Curtis, Dec. 31, 2011 at the ARE following the Science of Light Breaking of the Bread and Musical Celebration of Watch Night. - Elyse Donathan Curtis, Ph.D.

Watch Night is also known as "Freedom's Eve" because of the one held on December 31, 1862 that was attended by those awaiting the news that they were freed. This year, as we are in the first round of the 84-year Uranus cycle that sets the pace for the world, our Watch Night wish in this cycle is for:

Freedom mentally from subtle mind control by the dark forces

Freedom spiritually to continue seeking the Light of Christ

Treat every man's sister as ye would have THY sister treated! Treat every woman as ye think of thy mother! 1881-1 Respect for the feminine, the other half, which begins at home, is due women everywhere on an equal basis with the male counterpart. Women that are aware, realize that they have unique opportunities to validate themselves by respecting other women and honoring their academic or experiential accomplishments on the same level as they honor and respect the male counterpart. To do less is to dishonor themselves.

SOL Observations - Cayce Forum Resumes as a Triple-header Study Group*
	The promise to the Search for God Study Group to hold a Cayce Forum on Wednesdays at 7 P.M., so they could learn more about the Cayce work, was actually a triple-header. Created in 2005 as a Science of Light lecture series to fill the void and present information
from the Cayce files at the ARE Center, the Forum became one of the lecture topics listed for me in the Atlantic University Alumni Speaker’s Directory simultaneously with the request from the SFG members. The symbology of this triple convergence was obvious (three = “God speaks”) and manifested as the first Cayce Forum Study Group on November 16, 2011. Cayce Forum

Honoring The Intuitive Force – An Experience in A Search for God – A Cayce Forum
After noting a message received from higher consciousness to fill the void of Cayce-oriented groups during the week, I put it in my “to do” box. Immediately, I was asked to facilitate the Monday night A Search for God Group on 11/7 at 7 p.m. because the co-facilitators had prior engagements. I agreed, but was later informed that one of the group members would do it and later one of the facilitators would be there. However, they did not show, so the group members came to me.
The Cayce Forum
	The Search For God group couldn’t find their books, so we winged it. They were delightful with lots of questions unrelated to Search to God, but to the Cayce Material and the Bible. (Two subjects that I am well-versed in.) Whether I intended it or not, I held my Cayce Forum. Their appetites were whetted and they demanded that I do an on-going Cayce Forum. I told them to make their request known to the director and I would be happy to comply. Moral: Listen to the messages received from the Master consciousness. - EC

*SOL Observations – All Saints Day and All Souls Day
	All Saints Day Solemnity of All Saints is celebrated on November first to honor all saints, known and unknown and to supply any deficiencies in the faithful’s celebrations of Feast Days of individual Saints during the year. The vigil of this feast has come to be popularly called “Hallwe'en" or “Halloween,” which has developed it’s own rituals of “trick or treat,” goblins and witches. SOL Observations
	All Souls Day All Soul's Day, a day of remembrance for those who have passed on, came from the pagan festival, which celebrated the belief that the souls of the dead would return for a meal with the family. They would be guided back home by candles in the window. Food collected by Children to be offered to the dead would then be donated to feed the hungry. It is celebrated November 2 (3rd if the 2nd falls on a Sunday) purposely after All Saints Day to shift the focus to those still in purgatory. SOL Observations
	Purgatory Purgatory describes that in-between state after death, where souls who have not yet been cleansed of sin reside. Praying for those souls is thought to help to remove the stain of sin, allowing them to move closer to the light. Three requiem masses are said for the souls in purgatory “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 		Protecting the Legacy The grateful and enthusiastic response to the Awareness Factor 10/15/11 highlighted the need for protecting the validity of the information given from the source of truth from distortions that give the legacy a bad rap. This need for awareness, which had previously been addressed generally in HotTopics, will be addressed individually in Wisdom of the Beautiful. Making a Difference: A New Chair and a New Home

Denzel and I had the same drama professor at Fordham University, but the transpersonal connection came during the filming of Malcolm X on which I worked several months in various scenes. As he portrayed Malcolm’s transformation, his transformation as an actor was vividly felt on set. In reality, it was his Oscar. In his transformational journey, it was on his famous trip to Egypt and Haij to Mecca that Malcolm X reached the high level of acceptance that “the Lord is One” as was noted in Wisdom of the Beautiful Dreamer last week in reference to religious wars.

Atlantic University, the authentic Edgar Cayce University in Virginia Beach (Not to be confused with the Florida Atlantic University or misleading advertising using Edgar Cayce’s name), will have a new home at A.R.E.’s de Laski Family Foundation Education Center, which will also house the Edgar Cayce Foundation and the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy. The ground breaking ceremony, Thursday, October 6, 2011, 4 p.m. with CEO Kevin Todeschi and Mayor Will Sessoms was streamed live. This new step, guided by Kevin, will expand the ability of the University as it carries transpersonal education to a wider audience.

Meaning of the Sword and Current Conflicts in Egypt

A definition of Jesus’ enigmatic statement that he did not come to send peace on earth but a sword [Mat 10:34], was clarified in a discourse given June 19, 1942 during WWII before the Eleventh Annual Congress of the Association on the spiritual and practical concept for World Peace in which questions were asked about nationalism, racial hatreds and religious differences.

Sol Observations - Living Symbols at The Beautiful Dreamer Event - Part II

Symbols pre-date, transcend and survive language. It is through symbols that The Revelation is relevant in all ages. Naturally occurring symbols encountered daily are signs along the way in the waking world as are symbols we encounter in our dreams. If we note them as we note our dreams, we can discover personal messages and guidance directly from the source that is not subject to misleading information from the subconscious of others.

In Part I of the living symbols encountered at “The Beautiful Dreamer Event,” the eleven symbols cited related not only to The Revelation, but formed a message related to future activities. New symbols defined from the name definitions: “He will enlarge” - “Lion” - “Constant, Firm” - “White” and “Red” completed the message. SOL Observations

Sol Observations – Living Symbols at The Beautiful Dreamer Event

As the symbols of the Revelation are tri-fold and the Bible is written on three levels, The Beautiful Dreamer event abounded with symbols and “coincidences” bearing messages from the past and portents of the future, all of which applied to at least three events in my life. Thoughts that I had earlier manifested, questions I had were answered in symbols, and unresolved situations were addressed. Names of persons I encountered formed a mosaic of symbols that I related to.

Michael, Lord of the Way

The first person I greeted had the same name as Michael, archangel of the Revelation and patron of our support group.

The Seven Spiritual Centers

After that, I encountered a healer, whose name comprised the first two syllables of the endocrine system, which is represented as the seven churches, the seven spiritual centers in The Revelation.

Angel - Messengers to Seven Centers

The next person’s name, which meant angel, symbolized the messengers of the seven churches, the impulses to the seven centers of the endocrine system.

Message to the First Center

Message to the first angel in The Revelation (seat of procreation), to go back to the first love, was highlighted by the person whose name was the same as that of my first love as a teenager. This person’s message was directing me back to my first love in the creative vein.

Message to the Second Angel

“Faith,” definition of the name of another person was a reminder of the message to the angel of the second center (seat of imagination): to be faithful to the end in order to receive the crown of life.

The Lamb, the Book, the Witness

Symbols of others I met were not in their names but what they represented. One represented the lamb, who reminded me to take the book, and one represented one of the two witnesses.

The Akashic Level

Moving into the akashic level or memory, the director from my past reminded me to contact the musical playwriting\judge from my past. All of these symbols resonated with me clearly, including John: who represented the Divine himself!

The Saints and Prophets

The most dramatic symbol, again applicable on three levels occurred as if on cue as soon as I began to speak about The Revelation Group. A marching band, which sounded like it originated right in front of the building, began loudly playing, “When the Saints Go Marching In.” On one level, it answered my question whether dates for all three feast days the next week should be added to weekender. On another level, it related to the saints and prophets of The Revelation.

Beautiful Dreamer – Defining the symbols

Defining Symbols from the Life of the Young Cayce

The Bible as a symbol holds the key to all the others, stretching back before the coming of man. Christian is a multifaceted symbol that runs through the others and connects Cayce’s important past lives through the centuries before and after Jesus.

The symbol that seems most relevant on one hand because of the Biblical symbol also seemed the most obscure, yet it was in actuality extremely relevant to another aspect of the life of Cayce. It stretched back to Ancient Egypt and one of his past lives that had great impact on the man and his work. To understand this connection of the black farm worker, it is necessary to go back to the rivers that went out of Eden. (More on the Rivers)

The Black Farm Worker

Part of the knowledge that was accessed by the sleeping Cayce from the book of life was that the river and the four heads that went out of Eden to water the garden represented five streams of consciousness projected as the five nations: the five spheres, the five divisions of the Adamic race (personifications of the five senses) that later developed into various colors according to the environment into which they were projected: The black race: personification of the sense of taste was projected into Africa: Egypt (KMT: land of the black), which later became a melting pot as America has become, and Sudan (sub Sahara Africa was below water).

Around 10,500 B.C. when man began to call on the name of the Lord because he had lost touch with his original power and groped for survival, Ra (an incarnation of Cayce) and the people from the Caucasus, the place where the white division (personification of the sense of sight) had been projected, invaded Egypt which was a fertile land. They had food! (This pattern of going into Egypt for food would be followed throughout the Bible, and the pattern of the white division seeing, desiring and taking would pervade history into the present.) The black king also set the pattern for the great commandment, which became the cornerstone of Christianity, and Ra infused his religion with the religion of the true Uranians, the peoples of the north hills, connecting the black farm worker to at least three. (It would have been very interesting to learn of his past lives.)

The Beautiful Dreamer

This award-winning documentary dramatizes the blossoming gift of the young Cayce, whose early life is rife with remarkable symbology that defines his purpose based on his past

The Basic Symbology

Son of a farmer turned insurance man, the young Cayce was in introduced to the Biblical stories by a black farm worker in Hopkinsville, Christian County, KY. Upon request, he was given a Bible by the owner of Harper’s book store.

An avid reader of his Bible, who later became an avid gardener, the young Cayce used to make a lean-to under a tree in the woods and read it. One day he left his bible for a while and returned to find the sheep eating the Bible, Genesis specifically. It was also at this place in 1890 that an angel, a “lady” appeared to him and asked what he wanted to do in life, his reply was to help others.

Not only would he go on to read the Bible through for each year of his life, but in his “sleep” state he would clarify it greatly to the enlightenment of Bible students everywhere.

The main symbols from his childhood touched his past lives greatly and involved The Master, who became Jesus the Christ specifically in ancient Egypt, Persia, the Holy Land, and on his death bed.

Who Was Who: Edgar Cayce and Jesus of Nazareth

In Virginia Beach in the 1970’s with the encouragement of Gladys David, who had been Edgar Cayce’s secretary, I compiled the past lives of Edgar Cayce, for a book. Back in New York when my literary agent was ready to make a deal with the possibly of an option as a film, Cayce’s son, Hugh Lynn, asked me not to do it because he anticipated a film at that time. I went on to use the format and title for Another Sunrise (1981) condensed as Son of God/Son of Man, a book about the incarnations of Jesus from ancient documents, which not only led me to proof in the Bible about reincarnation, but to past incarnations of Jesus that coincided with his incarnations given in the Cayce files. It also and highlighted a connection between his incarnations and those of Edgar Cayce. Both were individually highlighted in the Who Was Who of Astral Projections News:

Legacy of the Seven-Year Study - First to the individual then to the classes

The Ballad of the Revelation, which explains The Revelation in rhyme for the Musical that is based on Part I, later expanded to include Part II, the other eleven chapters and moved to the classes as a study book now that the Commentary is out of print. The message is clearly understood and the group enjoys reading the verses in turn as a rap.

The Revelation Musical – The Legacy that Keeps on Giving

Concert Performance at Broadway Tomorrow - Stop Raising All That Hell! 1984

“Soul Mates,” a song presented at the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop for Richard Rogers, of which he was very complimentary,* ended up in another version of The Revelation Musical, Stop Raising All That Hell, about a party in the apartment of a rock star named John, whose friends also exemplified the attributes of the seven angels of the Revelation. John is caught between his soul mate, his first love, and a physical attraction to the girl who personifies the angel of the church in Ephesus. The party becomes noisy and an annoyance to the man who lives upstairs, whose signature song, “Stop Raising All that Hell Down There” becomes a cue for a surreal version of The Revelation.

Besides “Soul Mates,” and “Stop Raising All That Hell Down There” two new songs: “Shake The Tree of Life” and “Rough Diamond” (“Shine”) were added to the concert version of The Revelation Musical.

The clarification, importance and dissemination of the message of The Revelation was mentioned on January 19, 1934 in a world affairs discourse that predicted it will be declared that “John Peniel is giving to the world the new ORDER of things. Instead of seven years, The Revelation Musical, the offshoots of which are the books: Ballad of the Revelation, The Revelation Song Book, Memories Dreams and The Revelation and Body, Mind Spirit Connections, was received over a three-day period accompanied by a blue light (symbolic of the harmonious triune) in the same space on 16^th St.

On the next year, same time, same place, same phenomena, the Revelation Theology for the Temple of the Revelation, The Revelation Seminary and Evolved Christianity was received.

SOL Observations – Aug. 20, 2011 – Musical Milestones in the Life of Jesus

Sounds of music and praises accompanied Jesus’ journey from the cradle to the cross. One of the persons from the Cayce files who had been impacted by this music more than once was (1152). She had been the innkeeper’s daughter who not only heard the music of the spheres that announced the birth, but was the second to hold the babe. She kissed His brow and followed His activities to the end and beyond.

The Birth – The Gloria

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:13-14

The Last Supper – Psalm 91

In the Cayce files, Jesus, who had appeared previously as Asaph, David’s choir master and Palmist, is said to have played the harp and sang at the last supper.

They sing the ninety-first Psalm – “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.”

What Jesus is said to have cried out on the cross: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Mat. 27:46, Mar 15:34), is actually the first line of Psalm 22, a Messianic prophesy, which accurately describes what will happen on the cross.

SOL Observations – All You Need is Love

The Beatles and their music were instruments of change that bridged the gap between the social and spiritual revolutions of the 1960’s. Whether a conscious intention or not, their songs such as: “The Long and Winding Road,” “Little Help from My Friends,” “Let It Be,” “Lady Madonna,” “Here Comes The Sun,” “Come Together,” “Hey Jude,” “Love Me Do,” “We Can Work It Out,” etc. cross the bridge and impart spiritual messages. From the finite “She Loves You,” to the infinite “All You Need is Love,” echoes from the love generation vibrate with the great commandment (Matt. 22:37-40) restated in the Cayce files:

Among those who had been in the Roman experience, there was a school teacher and Navy Inspector with a pattern of craftiness for material gain.

During the time of the Exodus, as Jebel, a Hittite, he used Joshua to make peace to his material advantage. In the Roman experience, as Aquillan, he was a servant and companion close to Julius Caesar [729], who gained power because of catering to whims of those in authority.

The pattern continued during the gold rush, when as Horace Kellog, a forty-niner, he found gold, but abused the use of it.

When No One Believes You

Two stories currently in the headlines: the phone hacking in London and the high-profile rape case in New York, reverberate the same theme that led to creation of Michael The Archangel Support Group: No one believes me!

In the phone hacking scandal in London, a famous actor complained about it in the past, but no one believed him.

The Question is Why

The high-profile rape case yet to be resolved is a reminder of how women are treated: often, no one believes them, takes sides with the rapist or blames the victim! The question is why? Is it fear of shaking the establishment, lack of compassion, bigotry, lack of awareness, or worse?

In one case reported to the Group, it appears that those who disbelieved were either “wise in their own conceit” or were themselves likely victims of mind control by the perpetrator of the out-of-body attacks by a shape-shifter who practiced with their consent either consciously or unknowingly and whom they will blindly defend to the end.

The spirit and the soul is within its encasement, or its temple within the body of the individual – see? With the arousing then of this image, it rises along that which is known as the Appian Way, or the pineal center, to the base of the BRAIN, that it may be disseminated to those centers that give activity to the whole of the mental and physical being. It rises then to the hidden eye in the center of the brain system, or is felt in the forefront of the head, or in the place just above the real face – or bridge of nose, see? Who Was Who – Reign of the Frst Six Caesars

During the period of the rise and expansion of the Roman Empire, we met six of the symbolic twelve Caesars: Julius, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero.

Julius was assassinated in 44, BC. Jesus was born during the time of Augustus and crucified during the reign of Tiberius and the Christians were persecuted during the reign of the last three.

Three of them: Julius, Augustus, and Nero appeared in the Cayce files, as did an unidentified Caesar. That one, mentioned in passing in another discourse, had been re-born 7/16/1906 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The birth records of the town showed that only a female had been born on that date [See 2665-2, Par. R7.]. However, it would not have been the only Caesar to return as a female. Julius, who returned as a female 10/27/1890 Canada, Prince Edward Island, had also been a female seer/prophetess in Egypt during the time of Ra and a daughter of Gordon in early America during the English rule in Manhattan and Vinland

The discourse on Julius Caesar was one of the rare ones to which Mr. Cayce, himself, was curious about the reaction of the person. He went so far as to write her that he wished they had an opportunity to discuss it. (729-1 R1) Though the language in the files is sometimes difficult to interpret, when read carefully this one does seem to indicate that this 44-year old female born October 27, 1890, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada had indeed been the first Caesar, (Julius) and in the index under Reincarnation it lists: Caesar.

The one born in 1906 couldn’t have been (729) who was then age 16 – and it wasn’t Augustus who had been born in 1859 and had a Cayce discourse in 1938. So the one in 1906 remains unidentified.

Other noted persons of the period who returned were Cato, Tacitus, Brutus and Romulus. Among the scores of others incarnated during that period were a number of persons who had noted lives in other eras before or after the Roman saga.

A life that vividly demonstrated how karma (live by the sword, die by the sword) works was that of Nero, who persecuted the Christians in the arena. On his return as a coal miner in West Virginia, he became crippled in a car wreck in 1922 and spent 18 years completely helpless and “dependent upon charitable Christians for every detail of his care. This experience enabled him to meet and overcome much of the bad karma resulting from his Nero reign.” (33-1 R2.)

Among those not of note during the Roman period, but of note during the life of Cayce, included Dr. Harold Reilly, who had been a Roman Soldier during the time of Nero in Rome.

July 16, 2011 - Sol Observations – The Parousia Revisited

Eating, Drinking, Marrying and Giving in Marriage

This week’s SOL observation stemmed from a combination of current event topics in The Revelation Study Group that relate to cue words in the Parousia (the second coming: Mat. 24:2-40, Lu 17:26-36, 21:32, Mar. 13:14-30): (Bible text on line)

The first current event topic, hosting by Niagara Falls of marriages with cake and champagne as soon as the new law takes effect, and New York City Mayor’s announcement that he encouraged and will be presiding over a marriage of two of his aides at Gracie Mansion plays into the main end-time cue words in the Parousia: eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage (Luke 17:27) and gender pairing (Luke 17:34-36). The second is the apparent speed up of natural catastrophes on the planet.

The prediction in the Parousia that it will happen “as in the days of Noe” (Noah) seems to be an obvious comparison to the literal disaster, the flood. Though we are experiencing many floods on the planet at this time, the clues here are in what the people are doing because it was promised that “the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh” (Gen 9:15) as opposed to the Parousia, which states: “except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved” (Mat. 24:22).

Also, in the Parousia, this time destruction comes by fire and brimstone: “But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the son of man is revealed.” (Lu 17:29-30).

Fire Next Time

The mention of fire next time: destruction of the earth by the elements appears in #3653-1 in the Edgar Cayce files given January 7, 1944 for a 28 year-old Protestant housewife who had been one of the eight people in the Ark. Following her life in Mu as Oru, in her next incarnation she was Maran of the people who became the Hittites, and the wife of one of Noah’s sons.

For as has been given from the beginning, the deluge was not a myth (as many would have you believe) but a period when man had so belittled himself with the cares of the world, with the deceitfulness of his own knowledge and power, as to require that there be a return to his dependence wholly – physically and mentally – upon the Creative Forces.

Will this entity see such again occur in the earth? Will it be among those who may be given those directions as to how, where, the elect may be preserved for the replenishing again of the earth?

Remember, not by water – for it is the mother of life in the earth – but rather by the elements, fire. #3653-1

The Very Elect

The main clues in the Parousia remain in the language, the words Jesus chose to use, and what the people will be doing.

In the past, Abraham had been told that the city would be spared from destruction if he could find even ten righteous men (Gen. 18:32). He couldn’t. The same kind of clause is in the Parousia. The coming destruction is contingent on the elect: “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Mat. 24:22).

There is Hope If the Very Elect Are Not Fooled:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Mat. 24:24) (Mat. 13:22)

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. (Lu. 21:8)

(Q) [307]: Please explain the words of the Master as recorded in the 21^st chapter of Luke, “Many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ.”

(A) As has been given, many have arisen; for as He gave in the same connection, there were many false prophets, even those that would lead the very elect away. There be those who, finding something of the power that is in the material activities of those that would walk in the light, turn same into their own selfish purposes; hence become false prophets, false Christs, and lead many astray. Let’s remember, there has been given the manner, the way to determine as to whether such a prophet is of the Spirit of God or not. They that deny the call of the prophets of old, or the burdens of the world upon the Son or His death, His resurrection, are not of the spirit; for “As ye have SEEN Him go, so SHALL He come.” As He overcame the world through the birth as one born in due season, through those varied periods when necessity and the DEMAND of the Sons of God brought forth those leaders in their proper places, so He is that one that is given power over death, hell and the grave, and in Him is the power made manifest in the consciousness of Him and His power in the earth; hence we may see how the consciousness of His presence may be misconstrued, when turned to selfish motives. Know that even as the powers of evil are loosed for the correcting of many, so are the glories of Him made manifest in the hearts and lives of many. – 262-30

July 16, 2011 - Who Was Who – Response to Daniel’s Remembrances

Responses to Daniel Livingston’s Remembrances

The tribute to Daniel Livingston in Astral Projections Press News brought responses that were reminders of the importance of honoring those who came before and served while protecting the integrity of the Cayce work. Those who knew Danny, but were not aware of his passing were grateful to have the information. (For which much thanks goes to Pamela Markley.) Those who did not know Danny, were not only grateful for the history, but found wisdom and liberation in his remembrances.

Yoko Ono’s Dress

The most amusing response was, “What happened to the dress that Yoko Ono made for Marlene Wiener?” To that I have no answer, because Marlene Wiener is also on the other side. If anyone out there knows, they can pass the info on and we will post it.

“It’s A Phony”

Daniel’s statement that received the most comments and proved the most liberating for some was the answer to his prayer about “A Course in Miracles,” which was: “It’s a phony.” It seemed that many people felt the same way but were hesitant to speak out because they thought it was being pushed by the ARE and that no one else noticed or would believe them, but they couldn’t understand why because it was not only in opposition to critical information in the Cayce files, but to Jesus, Himself, the purported author! The general consensus so far is that it is reflecting badly on the Edgar Cayce work.

One particular person felt that it lacks spiritual insight and maturity and is promoted at the expense of A Search For God, especially since it states that Jesus did not die on the cross. This bit of knowledge puts it in the realm of the false Christ according to the answer in the search for God series to the meaning of: “Many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ.” The statement within that answer cited in the preceding article under “The Very Elect,” which bears re-reading, is explicit that those who deny His death or resurrection are not of the spirit (262-30). It was also expressed that it is deeply regrettable that a number of folks are actively engaged in associating it with the ARE!

The obvious facts are: Edgar Cayce passed on in 1945, many years before the creation of this “course,” which is in opposition to major points of the information he reported from the akashic records that are written on the skein of time and space. Therefore, his work could only be used to debunk it, not promote it! (The fact that his son looked at the manuscript is irrelevant, and probably falls into the realm of incurred karma brought down on the organization because of lack of awareness.) It was Edgar Cayce, not his son, through whom the information around which the organization is built came from the akashic records. This strange polluting of the organization, dilutes the purity of the work and stains its integrity to those who find value and the truth of Christ in the information and brings to mind one of the famous quotes from the Cayce Files:

“Self is the only sin,”(1362- 1)

and one often quoted from the Bible:

“For the love of money is the root of all evil:” (1TI 6:10)

The combination of ego (self) and greed (money) are powerful corrupting motivations. We can only pray that these motivations are kept out of the organization. Excellent advise was given from the akashic level on how to earn money:

(Q) At which activities can I earn money and succeed in this life?

(A) As has been given, that which will earn and live and make for the most is in that founded in Truth. While there may come through the abilities of the entity in many fields of associations, that which even in self may be questioned; yet such gains, such activity, though earning moneys, soon brings that with same that eats – and eats – and eats the soul and consciousness of such gainer.

Then, find self in truth, in light; for in such may come peace, harmony, and that which is necessary for the soul development.

For, as has been said of old, “What gain ye to gain the whole world and retard thine own soul?” 510-1 (Mar. 8:36)

July 16, 2011 – Snakes on a Plane..The Earth Plane that Is

Snakes on a Plane…

The other awareness topic: the snake, was introduced by several members of the group who independently were concerned about the grievous current photo associated with the New York ARE (not national) of a disciple of the occult black magician and devil worshipper, Aleister Crowley, whose philosophy and work is also in opposition to the Cayce work and the Way the Truth and the Light.

…The Earth Plane that Is

In The Revelation, the snake, the serpent is introduced when there was war in heaven (the spiritual level):

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

“And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Rev. 12:7-9)

The serpent as a symbol represents mind (281-25). Good and evil exists only on the mental level. In the Cayce files, the physical mental and the spiritual mental are often mentioned. Spiritual is only good (creative force). Mystical is spiritual. Occult is mental and represents the two conflicting forces: good and evil. How it is used is dependent on who is using it. Misuse of this force was the impetus for creation of the Michael the Archangel Support Group, which is open to anyone before the Science of Light events on Saturdays. July 09, 2011 – Who Was Who - The Romans -Romulus – Augustus

History, philosophy, literature, theatre, various gods and mythology come alive and merge through noted characters including two Caesars, the founder of Rome, a famous historian and poet, a famous general and a host of others as we follow the Roman empire from its formation and rise to its fall.

In “The Rise, Part I,” we met Romulus (5618-8) who returned to Orlinda, Tennessee as an Aries in 1867. He became an M. D. D. O. and was head of the Cayce Hospital in 1926. He was also a Cayce in-law. As a part of the Cayce Soul Group, he had been one of the twelve counselors in Egypt during the Ra-Ta period, who created the first form of social security and welfare, and one who assisted those suffering in body and mind in Persia during the Uhjltd period. His building experience on the mental level arose from his time on the Plain of Shinar as one among those laboring on the Tower to the heavens, ”building in that of the mental, rather than of the physical,” he gave help to those who labored in understanding why the building was being made.

After his life as Romulus, he returned as another famous person who will be part of our September Who Was Who Series of the Romans who also had other noted lives.

We also met Caesar Augustus (1266-1), the first emperor of the Roman Empire, who returned as a Libra in 1859 in Western Star, Ohio. His importance to the history of the planet stretched back to Atlantis as the father of Altar, during the time when preparations were being made for greater communications and use of forces in nature for activities. He also returned as two other persons of note: one in biblical history and one in American history, both of whom will be part of the Who Was Who Series on the Romans who also had other noted lives.

July 04, 2011 - Concept of the Sacred Heart from the Edgar Cayce Files

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;

and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.

(Q) After meditating with the group on April 11^th, my whole body seemed to be vibrating to the thought that I had opened my heart to the unseen forces that surround the throne of grace, and beauty, and might, and throwing about self that protection that is found in the thoughts of Him. Please explain.

(A) Just as has been given, the nearer one – a body, this body – draws to that complete consciousness that is in Him, the greater may be the power – that is manifested through His presence in the world through that as is brought about in self’s own experience. The more forceful, the more helpful, does the body become at such, and through such, experiences. Let these remain as sacred experiences, gathering more and more of same – but as such is given out, so does it come. 281-5

Meditation alone without releasing the energy to heal others become an exercise for “self,” which in the files is sin.

In the Cayce files, the 281 series along with the 262 series given to the original core group became the basis for the Glad Helpers Prayer and Meditation for Healing group, The Revelation and the Search for God Study Groups all that give out such as they receive in meditation.

Create in me a clean heart, O God;

and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)

July 4, 2011 – Blasphemy - One of the seven sins forgiven in the Cayce Files

In the Cayce Files, one of the seven devils Jesus cast out of Mary Magdalene was said to be the sin of blasphemy:

“The period of life of Mary (that is, of Mary the sister of Lazarus) was some twenty and two (22) years; she being twenty-three (23) years old when the Christ cleansed her from the seven (7) devils: Avarice, hate, self-indulgence,

And those of the kindred selfishness; hopelessness and blasphemy.” - 295-8

However, according to Jesus, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven:

“Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men: [the sons of men Mark 3:28], but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven to men, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” [Mat. 12:32]

Use of the image of Jesus inappropriately to advertise something that in itself says He did not complete His mission is an act of blasphemy and a painful wound to those who understand, like the sleeping and waking Edgar Cayce did, that He is not only The Way, The Truth and the Light and the elder brother, but the Creator, Maker of the universe:

“In the study, forsake not, of course, the true way and light. As is given from the beginning: God said, “Let there be light” and there was light, and that light became, and is the light of the world. For it is true that light, that knowledge, the understanding of that Jesus who became the Christ, is indeed thy elder brother and yet Creator, Maker of the universe; and thus are ye a part of same and a directing influence.” – 1641-1

In that respect, we are joining the others on the internet who are praying for reparations for those who are perpetrating this particular blasphemy and ask you go join with us in loving prayer also for the integrity of the Cayce legacy, which is under attack and being undermined by the very ones who should be protecting it from the dark forces ensconced in its gates:

In Defense of the Cayce Legacy

The wealth of information accessed from the akashic level on every subject imaginable by Edgar Cayce while asleep is a precious gift to humanity that fills in all the gaps.

The Beautiful Dreamer dramatizes the blossoming of the gift of the young Cayce, who had been introduced to the Biblical stories by a black man in Hopkinsville, KY. Upon request, he was given a Bible of his own, which he read through for each year of his life. While the records in his files give more complete details of antiquity, etc. they are totally in sync with the Bible including the prohibitions cited in Deuteronomy (18:9-13): child sacrifice, divination, sorcery, witchcraft, spells, mediums, spiritist (calling on discarnates), etc., all of which are said not only to be abominations to the Lord, but the reason the land would be taken away.

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth

not with me scattereth abroad.” MAT 12:30

Unfortunately, Mr. Cayce’s name and work are being connected incorrectly to much of the “New Age” hocus pocus that his source warned against, and in some cases for profit, even by those who should be protecting his legacy, the consequences of which are not only limited to exposure to discarnates (of which his source says millions are around who can “possess” the living), but misleading of others (one of the greatest sins one can commit) and relegation of one’s free will: loss of ability to make decisions for oneself, dependency on advice from others instead of developing one’s own intuition (which the Cayce source says is the highest level one can reach) through meditation: going to the temple within in private as Jesus said. (The Cayce source says visualization is idolatry.)

The primary Cayce message is the same as that of Christ Jesus: “Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all things shall be added to you.” The prime focus of his work, which is in sync with the Great Commandment, is attunement to the Christ Consciousness: the awareness within that we are all parts of the Christ, the Master: the Alpha and Omega that first appeared as Light and last as Jesus: the pattern for man’s development in the earth. In that respect the Cayce files advise:

(A) Jesus, the Christ – and HIM crucified! 1456-1

“Know nothing among men save Jesus the Christ

June 18, 2011 - Will, the gift of God Will and Awareness

Free will is the gift of God that comes with the first breath. In the Revelation, the seven churches symbolize the seven spiritual centers in the body, one of which represents the seat of the.

In The Lord’s Prayer, key words relate to the seven spiritual centers.

Our father (which art in heaven) relates to the seventh spiritual center, the master gland, the pituitary that controls all the others – the church in Laodicea

Hallowed by thy name relates to the son, the Christ, the sixth spiritual center, the pineal gland, the seat of memory (ark of the testimony), the church in Philadelphia

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven relates to the fifth spiritual center, the thyroid, seat of the will, the church in Sardis.

It is at the level of the will where physical (on earth) or spiritual (in heaven) choices are made. The supplication in The Lord’s Prayer is a request to do the will of God. However, it is up to each to be aware, to be watchful, as stated in the letter to the church in Sardis (Rev. 3:1-3).

A Cayce discourse Nov. 14, 1933 threw some light on the influences that came into the planet in 1910-11 that influenced the world affairs experienced by that generation, many of whom were just coming of age during the time of Triumph of the Will, but the choice was always present.

As to the entrance in the present experience from the astrological aspects, as we have noted, this is the cycle when many of unusual abilities – both for good and bad – have entered the environs of the earth, particularly during 1910 – 191

June 11, 2011 - The Meaning of Speaking in Tongues

The Comforter is the gift of the Holy spirit, for it sheds

abroad in dark places – Edgar Cayce (137-125)

Speaking in Tongues or glossolalia: the gift of tongues, which was bestowed on the apostles at Pentecost from the Holy spirit, is described in the Cayce files not as gibberish, but as the apostles speaking in their own language and being heard by foreigners in their native languages. A current analogy would be a speaker at the United Nations speaking in the native language, which is translated to the other delegates in their own languages via ear phones.

“In those activities then that followed the Crucifixion, and the days of the Pentecost, and the Sermon or teachings – and when there was beheld by Lucius the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, when Peter spoke in tongues – or as he spoke in his OWN tongue, it, the message was HEARD by those of EVERY nation in their OWN tongue – this so impressed Lucius that there came a rededicating, and the determination within self to become the closer associated, the closer affiliated with the Disciples or Apostles.” (294-192)

Lucius of Cyrene, who became the bishop of Laodicea was an incarnation of the soul who later became Edgar Cayce according to the akashic records. He is credited in the files as having written the book of Luke. This information was not given to Cayce until his latter days because the source said it would have made his head swell. It is probably safe to say that it is from that life that he inherited his overwhelming love for scripture, so much so that he read the Bible through once for each year of his life and his language of the discourses is in a biblical vernacular.

June 4, 2011 –Sol Observations – Dawning backstage at the Apollo Theatre

In ARE Remembrances (2006) I recall how I had been introduced to There Is A River, the biography of Edgar Cayce in the 1950’s backstage at the Apollo Theatre by Dawn Hampton, a friend from my teenage years. That had been a pivotal moment in my life, a real dawning that is still impacting my life. Not only the ymbology of her name as the bringer of a new day, a new light, but karmically as an opportunity for growth and renewal that we all may find accompanying our friendships in life as expressed in the quote from the Cayce files:

Some of the adages that further explain the above are: “You never meet a stranger” or “There are no coincidences,” to which can be added the 12^th house connection that indicates past karma. In our case, the sun of my friend Dawn is in my 12^th house of karma. Try this with friends or family and see what “opportunities” for growth they bring into your life and you into theirs.

Dawn, who began performing as a child in her family band playing saxophone, singing and dancing, and progressed to solo artist and actress off Broadway, is now celebrated as the queen of swing dancing. When I was introduced to There Is A River by her I had progressed from dancer with a company to solo artist to East Side cabaret singer. Thereafter, my whole world was colored by the wealth of information I was exposed to from the Cayce files both in New York and in Virginia Beach as I followed all the ideals previously set in another time as a dramatist, song writer, actress and artistic director, in business and non-profit management and in academia and theology as professor and theologian. Now more than half a century later having touched on many ideals, I am still active in the Edgar Cayce organization, which is rife with “opportunities,” and by default find myself matriarch of the New York ARE begun in Chelsea back in the 60’s. May 28, 2011 - Son of God/Son of Man – The prior appearances of Jesus

From the First Light to the Last Adam

The Gospel of John opens with the Word as the Light of the beginning manifested as Jesus of Nazareth. During research for the chapter, Son of God/Son of Man in Another Sunrise (1981) based strictly on ancient documents, I discovered that the tantalizing clues in the Bible to His physical appearances prior to that of Jesus were not confined to his older cousin, John the Baptist’s comment that “he was before me” (Jo. 1:15) or questioning of the Apostles whether he was the return of Jeremiah or one of the prophets, but included His own words that put him before and with Abraham (John 8:56-58). Implications of the one before Abraham as “I am,” which is also the “self-existent, eternal,” name Moses is given to describe the one who sent him (Ex. 3:14), coincides with the Word, the Light. Further research that uncovered the one with Abraham (Gen. 14:18, Heb. 6:20, 7-1-2-4) also indicated another one (Ps. 110:4, Heb. 5-6).

The prior incarnations of Jesus given in Son of God/Son of Man A Search for the Incarnations of Jesus gleaned from ancient documents are also given in the Cayce files from the akasha, the book of life.

Prior Appearances from the Cayce Files

The important biblical appearances of Jesus from the Light of the beginning to the last Adam as well as one in Persia and one as the “Son” in Asia appear in the Cayce files:

“In the beginning as Amilius, as Adam, as Melchizedek, as Zend, as Ur as Asaph, as Jesus [Jeshua] – Joseph – Jesus.” 364-7

Let There Be Light

Amilius refers to the first Light called forth in Genesis One by God: the Creative force, which appears in Genesis Two as the Lord God who formed man from the dust of the ground and manifested in the physical with the first breath as Adam, progenitor of the human race. Thus we are both spirituality as Lords and physically as Adamic man, parts of that consciousness, that first breath: hence the Lord our God is one.

Group consciousness came with the river and four heads that went out of Eden symbolic of the five divisions of the race and the five senses for physical expression. Individuality and free will comes with the first breath. (See Let There Be Light )

Zend, according to the files, was the father of Zoroaster and Ur was a consciousness of the place (the consciousness that guided Abraham), not a person. (364-9). In other places, Enoch was mentioned. The translated Enoch, who is also known by the Arabic name, Idris, and the Greek name, Hermes, is said to have appeared in Libya during the ancient Egyptian period where the priest, Ra, had been banished. (The story of the priest’s banishment is eerily similar to the one that had been told by Elijah Muhammad and often repeated by Malcolm X.) As Hermes, Enoch is also said to have been the architect of the Great Pyramid.

Joshua also appears in others places in the file as the priest and mouthpiece of Moses, the one through whom the information came. Similarly, the Asaph mentioned is assumed to have been the biblical character who was David’s chief choir master and seer who prophesied, and the one called “the musician,” in another place. David was a musician on the harp and musical talent also surfaced with Jesus, who was said to have been a musician on the harp and that He played the 91^st Psalm at the last supper.

However, there is a mention of David in another verse that also mentions Moses as one of those who prepared the way for His incarnation as Jesus (1158-9), which could indicate that the lives of those individual parts of the Amilius soul contributed in preparing the way to ascension, since both were guided by His incarnations: Joshua and Asaph.

The incarnations are given in reverse order. Beginning with the most recent and going backward. The earliest ones being given after the most recent ones. The incarnation as Joseph was mainly in Egypt, which helped establish a time frame for the other one in Egypt “in those periods when those of that same Egyptian land [where Jesus had been as Joseph] were giving those counsels to the many nations, when there would be those saving of the physical from that of their own making in the physical” (364-8). This describes the Ra period, not the later period of Joseph. This reference describes the period of His incarnation as the translated Enoch when he was with Ra (an incarnation of Cayce). The name Asapha, (or Affa), not Asaph, is the name given for Uhjltd (a later Persian incarnation of Cayce) in Uhjltd’s appearance in Egypt.(294-142) When read with this knowledge, the meaning of (364-8), which was perplexing and had been questioned by the stenographer, Gladys Davis, appears to be that Asaph refers to the musician with David and Asapha refers to Ra.

Did the illuminated body empower the spear?

Could the spear of Longinus, the spear that pierced the side of Jesus on the cross have become infused with power from the state of His body?

In the Cayce files, the body of Jesus is described as having been illuminated:

“But when the Prince of Peace came into the earth for the completing of His OWN development in the earth, HE overcame the flesh AND temptation. So He became the first of those that overcame death in the body, enabling Him to so illuminate, to so revivify that body as to take it up again, even when those fluids of the body had been drained away by the nail holes in His hand and by the spear piercing His side.” 1152-1

The person to whom the information was given about the spear and was told that she, too, could illuminate the body, had an interesting history with the Master, which is documented in the Who Was Who. As Jenife, the innkeeper’s daughter, she had been the second to hold the babe, Jesus:

“Jenife (Sarapha, Sara) – Daughter of the inn keeper, attractive, one year younger than the Virgin **Mary, sought after by a registrar (present husband), but rejected him, was requested to prepare quarters for the **Mother-to-be, witnessed specter of His Star in the evening sky that brought wonder and awe to all, gazed and wept with joy, heard the blessing: “Peace on earth, good will to men,” that was heard by the shepherds, also heard the words of the wise men, second to hold the baby **Jesus, eventually took up residence closer to Bethany on the edge of Olivet, dedicated body, mind, and being to purpose of the Child, saw Him next as a child in the temple, was among those crying “Hosannas” at triumphant entry, was close to *Bartimaeus [2124], stood with Holy Women after crucifixion, then associated with Ruth [1158], was among first to be martyred by Romans dispersing crowds.” - Who Was Who, Elyse Curtis, Ph.D.

May 14, 2001 – Surfing the Akasha - Partaking of the Holy Grail

Researching the topic of the week yielded an interesting allusion to the Quest of the Holy Grail in response to a question by one of the founding members of A Search For God Study Group, which also had a symbolic meaning:

(Q) [993]: Please interpret the message I received on Dec. 13^th about 6:30 A.M., when a voice said, “It is time for you to take the Holy Grail.”

(A) With the study that has been going on, in the activities of the body, the reading of the quest of the Holy Grail at the present time would bring to the body the proper interpretation of how and what the vision should mean to the body in the present; for it will be seen in the story of the quest how that it becomes necessary for the individual to partake of that which was meant by Him who gave, “Ye must eat of my body, drink of my blood.” 262-34

SOL Observations - Who Was Who

Research into the appearances of the member of the SFG Study Group who received the message to “take the Holy Grail,” not only revealed a relevant life during the time when the Master walked in the earth, but shed light on an interesting pre-historic timeline.

The first relevant life given was in pre-Ra Egypt during the earliest Egyptian civilization when the first pyramids were built at the head of the Nile in the hill region. This lent credence to the statement that during the later Ra period, his daughter was an archeologist uncovering ruins of the prior civilization. During that life, the study group member had been a female ruler over men and she had many husbands. This also paints a picture of a matriarchal society.

Her next appearance was in prehistoric Og (plateau, of what is now northern New Mexico) at the time of the first home influences. She was with the first who gave people home influence and learned usage of metals and minerals.

The relevant appearances after that followed the main ones of the Cayce soul group, especially the Ra period in Egypt where she saw in self necessity for awakening and understanding. Following two other appearances with the Cayce soul group in the Persian Uhjltd period and the Trojan period, she appeared when the Master walked in the earth.

When researching one subject in the Cayce files, gems of information from the akashic records (the book of life written on the skein of time and space) that fill in the gaps of pre-history often emerge. Such was the case when researching the subject of the week, which yielded only one mention initiated by the questioner but exposed information on the location of remnants of the land of Lemuria, location of a temple in a natural formation and described a meeting of seven nations to counteract the threat from prehistoric animals.

Additional insights into the law of one in Atlantis, –he rule of Croesus and females being brought to early America as mothers of the new generations gained through the incarnations of this person and others appear in the Who Was Who, the first complete compilation of characters from the Cayce files called “an important source for research” by Jeanette Thomas, Edgar Cayce Foundation. April 30, 2011 Who Was Who -Those Who Were There And Those Who Returned

Incarnations of characters in the Who Was Who based on the Cayce files that played important roles during the walk to Emmaus include Cleopas, one of the 70 disciples. We also discover the identity of one of the others with him who returned as the father of one who had been Cleopas’ daughter, Susanne. More intriguing surprises in this karmic web involve Jesus’ sister, the Roman whom she married, a host of others and their lives through the centuries.

We also learn from the files that the upper chamber where the appearance took place to the ten belonged to Zebedee and that the person who opened the door for Thomas on the third appearance was Veronica, who had washed Jesus’ face for burial and had been with the others who went to anoint His body at the tomb (489-3)

SOL Observations - The Great Commission and Ascension

As all of the actions in the Bible relate on three levels, there is symbolic meaning to the revelation to Cleopas at the supper, the six appearances of the risen Christ and those with His seven disciples, His ten disciples and His eleven disciples. Also, while his august birth occurred under the rule of Augustus Caesar, His crucifixion occurred under the rule of Tiberius for which the sea at Galilee was named. It was at the Sea of Tiberius where he appeared to His disciples and then ascended from the mount after giving them the Great Commission.

In Matthew’s telling, they are to go and teach and baptize in the name of the father, son and Holy Ghost. Mat. 28:16-20

In Mark’s telling, which is the most often quoted, they are to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 6:14-19

In the Cayce files the Gospel is defined as the Great Commission and the Great Commandment combined:

“What is the gospel?” That ye love one another, even as I have loved you." 3578-1

“To us here, as individuals, we have accepted, we do accept those tenets of the Nazarene, Jesus of Nazareth, whose whole gospel was combined in that message, "Ye shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and mind, and thy neighbor as thyself." Incarnations of characters who played important roles during the Passion of the Christ (the last twelve hours) not only included the apostles and the holy women, whom we met before, but more noted personages, such as Veronica and Nicodemus, who came to Jesus by night to be taught and later joined Joseph of Arimathea and provided the myrrh and aloes to anoint him for burial.

Tracing the last twelve hours, a host of other characters appear, including those around Pilate and the Sanhedrin, all of whom are documented in the Who Was Who based on the Cayce files and insight into their lives before and after that appearance reveals interesting karmic patterns.

SOL Observations – Betrayal, Memory and Forgiveness

Betrayal, Memory and Forgiveness

“Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned,

repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver

to the chief priests and elders,” MAT 27:3

Judas repented and hung himself, yet, for all eternity he would be identified as the betrayer of Christ. His act became a permanent part of the akashic record.

This was clearly illustrated in the Cayce files in a statement to Jesus’ brother, Jude, who had been reborn. When he questioned if a current acquaintance of his was Judas reborn, the response was: “Judas Iscariot, betrayer of me.” (137-125)

Though he had gone through trials and tribulations in previous lives and was now a fine man who should be invited to join in the work, his identity on the akashic level was still defined as the “betrayer.” Likewise, those who betray us are recorded in memory as such.

However, not only do these numbers represent the number of months in the year, hours in the day and in the night, and days of the week, but they pervade ancient traditions.

Twelve appears as the twelve gods of mythology and the twelve Caesars; the twelve gates, twelve angels, twelve foundations and twelve precious stones in The Revelation; the twelve tribes of Israel, and the twelve Disciples of Christ. There are also twelve major divisions of the body and twelve divisions of the celestial band.

Seven is notably associated with the Sabbath, the day that God, the First Cause in creation, rested. In the eschatological and apocalyptic books, this number recurs as the seven churches, the seven candlesticks, the seven stars, the seven angels, the seven seals, and the seven trumpets. In the ancient yogic tradition, seven is the number of the chakras, the spiritual centers in the body that coincide with the seven major centers of the endocrine system symbolized as the seven churches in The Revelation.” (Elyse Curtis, Ph.D. And There No Coincidences, 1995)

“As Uranus Goes, So Goes the World.”

In Celestial Influences (1995 Astral Projections Press), I chronicled the last 84-year Uranian cycle that began in the constellation Aries (the fire sign of new beginnings that rules the head and is ruled by Mars [the god of War], th– planet associated with anger, madness and energy for positive or negative activity), which set the stage for WWII, and continued its transit through all twelve signs of the celestial band highlighting the extremes of each that are uncannily reflected in world history.

It is said that “History repeats itself and if we do not learn from it, we are bound to repeat it.” Awareness of what transpired during the last Uranian cycles and magnifying the positive influences of each constellation might be the key to learning and averting the errors of the past.

- An Eerie Reminder

One of the songs I used to sing when I worked for the ARE at Virginia Beach, “Earth Changes,” now appears in Soul Quest, the Legacy, a book of lyrical poems and raps used to teach about life on the spiritual path. It sums up the physical changes coming in the earth that are recorded in the Edgar Cayce files. With all of the changes coming into the earth at this time, I was reminded of that song and found myself eerily jolted by a verse that mentioned what happened in Japan and also Atlantis rising, two big stories last week! There Was A New King

“Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.” (Ex. 1:8 )

The Bible is written not only on the historic, but the symbolic level. What happens historically is also a pattern of what happens on the individual level.

Historically, the abuse, humiliation, and persecution was brought by the “new king” because he had no awareness– or appreciation of Joseph’s past contribution to the sustenance and survival of his domain and he feared losing his grip of absolute control and power over Joseph’s people, those (“striving for God”).

The king, therefore, sealed the fate of himself and his domain. In the process of time he died (Ex. 2:23) and the humiliation he imposed led to backlash during the time of Moses and his minister, Joshua, who would enter the promised land.

Joshua (“God is savior”), was an incarnation of Joseph “God will increase,” who had been an incarnation of Jesus (Immanuel: “God with us”) who would become the Christ, the resurrected “King of Kings.”

Individually, those abused and humiliated by new rulers out of fear and desire for complete control, will eventually enter the new promised land and be resurrected as their former domain and abuser become a lesson to remember.

He Ain’t Heavy, He’s Me!

Besides Adam and Eve and Jesus and Mary, at least two other people, who were closely associated in their present lives, were identified in the Cayce files as twin souls (not to be confused with soul mates: emotional attachments). Since most of us are not consciously aware of the identity of our twin souls, he/she could be anyone: friend or foe whom we least suspect. This sobering realization not only highlights the importance of the Great Commandment in relationship to our “neighbors,” but more intimately to ourselves and the ability to forgive others who might have betrayed or wounded us. It might be self-inflicted. He/she our “brother,” might also be the other half.

Bernadette’s Enigma

Bernadette’s vision occurred in 1858. It was not until 1925 that she was beatified and not until 1933 that she was canonized. In viewing the process of bringing her story to the screen the possible reason for lack of ready acceptance of her vision is seen. Confirmation of her claim, which in reality differs from that put forth, is found and apparently verified in the Cayce source. Music as well as portrayer are critical to recreation of her song.

She is also a composer, lyricist/dramatist, founder/Artistic Director of Broadway Tomorrow Musical Theatre and Theatre of the Spirit, and is author of hundreds of songs and seven musicals including, The Revelation Musical, The Perils of Paul, Viva Aida, Where Is Soul Mate? and Mad Blake.
