Bible Study 101
“Is there a difference between God, Lord God and Lord?” In class three we begin an overview
of the contents of the books. Genesis:
the story of creation, the fall, the flood, the Exodus:
Moses, the plaques, escape from Our main discussion focused
on the three levels of the Bible, the difference between God, Lord God and
Lord, and the difference between apodictic and causative law. |

Bible Study 101 “Are there two different stories of Creation in Genesis 1 and 2?” In class two we did a brief
overview of the entire Bible through all of the historic eras covered in the related books. Questions from
a new member pertaining to the creation story, which was not scheduled until
future meetings when will begin study into the Bible chapter and
verse, prematurely opened a discussion of the two seemingly conflicting
stories of creation in Genesis 1 and 2, the symbolic and metaphysical levels
of the Bible and the need to check definitions of the words used in
translation as documented in Let There
Be Light. |

The
Science of Light Bible Q&A proposed in August 2010, took form as an ARE
Bible Study Group in the same way that the Science of Light Cayce Forum became
the ARE New Cayce Forum Study Group because of a triple demand by those who
could not attend the Saturday programs.
The
Science of Light Cayce Forum became an ARE study group because of a triple
demand by those who could not attend the Saturday Revelation Study
Group. At the New Cayce Forum, it
became evident that study of the Cayce material and knowledge of the Bible go
hand in hand. This stimulated the
group’s interest in manifestation of Let There Be Light, the New Bible Study
Group, which had also been foreshadowed and requested. While
The Revelation Study group focuses on meaning of its symbols as related to
the body, mind and spirit, the message in the Cayce files is that the entire
Bible carries that same message and should be studied by all. Though Science
of Light has continually presented lectures and programs on the Bible at the
ARE since the 1990’s, because many of those interested could not attend on
Saturdays, Science of Light announced a Q&A on the Bible in August, 2010. Request for the Revelation
study group during the week coupled with recent requests by those in the
Forum for an understanding of the Bible led to the formation of the Bible
Study Group. |
