Edgar Cayce 101 Question of the Week

“What is meant by man made from the dust (ashes) of the ground?”

Again the Bible Study was supplemented with wisdom from the Cayce Archives and melded into the Cayce Forum. The question of what is karma (as defined in the West) was answered by the definition of causative law (If you do this, that will happen), as apposed to apodictic law “thou shall,” where one has a choice to disobey dependent on the will.

Edgar Cayce 101 Question of the Week

“Where there five races or just one?”

Again, the Bible study melded into the Cayce Forum and the first line of “The Man called Cayce” in our study book: Soul Quest: The Legacy: “How and where did life begin?” through discussion of the differences between the two stories of creation in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 documented in our other study book: Let There Be Light.

The discussion jumped to the line, “Were there five races or just one” and culminated with an introduction to the five point projection symbolized by the the rivers in Genesis 2.

Edgar Cayce 101 Question of the Week

“How can we remember our past lives?”

The opening Bible Study class melded into the New Cayce Forum because of the overlap of material from The Edgar Cayce Bible Companion and the integration of biblical quotes into the Cayce Discourses. Added to the overall study was the most recommended biblical passages for parallel group study and which four chapters sum up the message of the Master.

How to “know those things that have been preserved from the foundations of the worlds in thine own experience.” (262-60) was recommended by studying and living the Bible. A precise method of how to remember our past experiences in the earth was given in the Cayce Discourses. (294-189).

Legacy from the New Cayce Forum

At the meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, the new additions to our “Treasure box” were so intriguing we decided to focus on some of the questions that had surprising answers: “How long did it take for the separation of male and female in the garden?” Do the planets represent attributes of man’s experience?” “Does evil have its appearance only in the mind?” For answers to questions like these and other gems, visit the Cayce Forum next week: Wednesday, February 1, 2012.

Legacy from the New Cayce Forum

Some of the wisdom we gained from the Cayce Legacy at the meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, was “how to stay young forever” which had been discussed at the Revelation Study group on 1/14/12 and “what is the best exercise” which the two professional dancers in the group had fun simulating. Bible Study Group

Again, it became evident that study of the Cayce archives and knowledge of the bible go hand in hand in order to truly understand and follow the information. This again stimulated the group’s interest in manifestation of the bible study group, which had been foreshadowed and requested. Feedback if interested is welcome: Bible Study Group

This question, asked by a longtime member/volunteer at the ARE of NY Center seeking an answer illustrated the need for the Cayce Forum. The answer to this basic question, which is in the Cayce material and thought to be common knowledge now also appears in the lyrics of “Now Is The Time For Truth,” one of our Transpersonal Arts songs about the frustrations of those newly on the path in the 1960s trying to understand the change in the language to describe spiritual terms and their biblical equivalents:

Who went and changed the language?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Let's get together on our meanings

With karma, mantra, reincarnation,

Jan. 11, 2012 – Transposed through Universe

Legacy from the New Cayce Forum

At the meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, we welcomed two new members and studied another one of the Great Discourses from the Cayce archives that was given for Mr. Cayce to use in a talk on the lost continent of Atlantis. Not only did this take us back to a previous aerial age when they could bodily be transposed from one portion of the universe to the other, but on to the time equivalent where the biblical story in Genesis 2 begins. Next Meeting, Wed. January 18, 7 P.M.

January 4, 2012 – Voice over Many Waters

At the meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, we welcomed new members and revisited the question in the first line of The Man Called Cayce , “How and where did life begin?” with emphasis on the coming of man. This provocative question took us back before the coming of man and led to the starting point of projection of the images containing the total male/female force before the separation that is illustrated in the Who Was Who, by 294/288 as the Voice Over Many Waters. The comparisons between the information in the Cayce files and the biblical account in Genesis 1 and 2 again stimulated the group’s interest in biblical study for the third time.

Dec. 21, 2011

At our meeting on Wed., December 21, we departed from our regular format to follow a message to discuss one of the truly great discourses in the Cayce files on Planetary Sojourns. Following the message from within answered the mental desire of one of the members for that particular information. Also, a second request for biblical knowledge came in the question about what passages to read to understand the Bible. A promise to send the list given in the Cayce discourses suggested the format and reinforced the message repeating in the requests to have Bible study on Tuesdays.

On Wed, December 14, with a full house for the space allotted and new members, we recapped some of the topics from the previous week and found value in revisiting subjects in the learning process. Of great interest was the meaning of birthmarks, a topic that will be touched on again, meaning of living a balanced life and Jesus who became the Christ.

Cayce Forum Resumes As Study Group

After noting a message received from higher consciousness to fill the void of Cayce-oriented groups during the week, I put it in my “to do” box. Immediately, I was asked to facilitate the Monday night A Search for God Group on 11/7 at 7 p.m. because the co-facilitators had prior engagements. I agreed, but was later informed that one of the group members would do it and later one of the facilitators would be there. However, they did not show, so the group members came to me.

The Search For God group couldn’t find their books, so we winged it. They were delightful with lots of questions unrelated to Search to God, but to the Cayce Material and the Bible. (Two subjects that I am well-versed in.) Whether I intended it or not, I held my Cayce Forum. Their appetites were whetted and they demanded that I do an on-going Cayce Forum. I told them to make their request known to the director and I would be happy to comply.

SOL Observations November, 19, 2011* Cayce Forum Resumes as a Triple-header Study Group - Nov 16, 2011
	The promise to the Search for God Study Group to hold a Cayce Forum on Wednesdays at 7 P.M., so they could learn more about the Cayce work, was actually a triple-header. Created in 2005 as a Science of Light lecture series to fill the void and present information
from the Cayce files at the ARE Center, the Forum became one of the lecture topics listed for me in the Atlantic University Alumni Speaker’s Directory simultaneously with the request from the SFG members. The symbology of this triple convergence was obvious (three = “God speaks”) and manifested as the first Cayce Forum Study Group on November 16, 2011.

ANSWER TO A PRAYER

I keep saying I wish Search for God were on another evening other than Monday. Maybe my prayers have been answered. I will see you at 7pm the first Wednesday in December !

History of Original The Edgar Cayce Forum

Why The Forum

In the Bible, the records from the foundations of the world are written in the book of life (Rev. 17.8) that is accessed when the ark of the testimony of the temple of God is opened in heaven. Though we all have access to the temple of God within, in this third dimensional world the true reality of our origin and destiny and everything else in-between can be clouded by the logical, conscious mind. Yet, some of us often have nagging questions that usually send us on a quest to parents, The Bible, or anywhere else where we feel we might receive answers about our relationship to the universe and to each other.

My search not only led me down the intellectual and mystical trails, but to The Bible and the work of the modern-day prophet, Edgar Cayce, who not only substantiated the Biblical accounts and brought them to life, but got his information from the akashic records, the Sanskrit word for the Biblical Book of Life.

Having gained so much conscious understanding of every subject imaginable from my study of the Edgar Cayce work over the past fifty years, in May 2005, I felt impelled to begin presenting “The Edgar Cayce Perspective Series: What the Sleeping Prophet Really Said” on various topics that would counteract any distorted misleading information. Following a dream that directed me to do so, I began the Open Forum on the Cayce Work at the Science of Light Saturday Evening summer socials in July and August 2006.

Because of the encouraging response to the Open Forum on the Cayce Work, and the eagerness of those attending to openly discuss the wide range of subjects covered by the work; the series continued on Saturday evenings.
