Jesus of Nazareth

From the First Light to the Last Adam

The Gospel of John opens with the Word as the Light of the beginning manifested as Jesus of Nazareth.  During research for Son of God/Son of Man in Another Sunrise (1981) based strictly on ancient documents, I discovered that the tantalizing clues in the Bible to His physical appearances prior to that of Jesus were not confined to his older cousin, John the Baptist’s comment that “he was before me” (Jo. 1:15) or questioning of the Apostles whether he was the return of Jeremiah or one of the prophets, but included His own words that put him before and with Abraham (John 8:56-58).   Implications of the one before Abraham as “I am,” which is also the “self-existent, eternal,” name Moses is given by God to describe the one who sent him (Ex. 3:14), coincides with the Word, the Light.  Further research that uncovered the one with Abraham (Gen. 14:18, Heb. 6:20, 7-1-2-4) also indicated another one (Ps. 110:4, Heb. 5-6).

The Incarnation from the Cayce Files

The important biblical incarnations of Jesus from the Light of the beginning to the last Adam appear in the Cayce files as well as one in Persia and one as the “Son” in Asia.

“In the beginning as Amilius, as Adam, as Melchizedek, as Zend,

as Ur as Asaph, as Jesus [Jeshua] - Joseph - Jesus.” 364-7

Zend, according to the files, was the father of Zoaroster and Ur was a consciousness of the place (the consciousness that guided Abraham),* not a person.  In other places, Enoch was mentioned.    The translated Enoch, who is also known by the Arabic name, Idris, and the Greek name, Hermes, is said to have appeared in Libya during the ancient Egyptian period where the priest, Ra, had been banished.  (The story of the priest’s banishment is eerily similar to the one that had been told by Elijah Muhammad and often repeated by Malcolm X.)  As Hermes, Enoch is also said to have been the architect of the Great Pyramid.

Joshua also appears in others places in the file and was the priest and mouthpiece of Moses, the one through whom the information came.   Similarly, the Asaph mentioned is assumed to be the biblical character who was David’s chief choir master and seer who prophesied and the one called “the musician,” in another place.  The musical talent also surfaced with Jesus who was said to have been a musician on the harp and played the 91st Psalm at the last supper.

*As an entity, the Master soul that became Jesus was said to have “influenced either directly or indirectly all those forms of philosophy or religious thought that taught God was One” (364-9).  He will appear again:

“Then, as that coming into the world in the second coming - for He will

come again and receive His own, who have prepared themselves through

that belief in Him and acting in that manner; (364-7)

Cayce Soul Group

Several of the Apostles: Andrew and Luke, and Jesus’ brothers, James and Jude, are among those who appear in the Cayce Soul Group,  and a host of other biblical characters including Jesus’ sister, Ruth, and even Judas, who was an acquaintance of the incarnated Jude, appear in the files.  Peter, was said to be coming into the work, Paul was said to be here in the mental and John was expected to be born in the early 1930s.  Cayce, himself was said to have been a teacher in the church in Antioch who incidentally was the one who wrote the book of Luke.

About the Who Was Who

In the early 1970's while I was living in Virginia Beach, I conceived the idea to write a book about the incarnations of Edgar Cayce.   I told Gladys Davis about this.  She thought it was an excellent idea and gave the project her blessings.   In the process of researching the lives of Edgar Cayce, because the material was so fascinating, it was a major effort to stay focused and not get caught up in a maze of characters from Atlantis to Early America and not stray into those others side lives.   After months of research in the library, I came up with a synopsis and outline of the chapters, which I submitted to Hugh Lynn and Gladys.   Being a playwright, I used some of the dramatic vernacular, like "setting the stage," the "cast of characters," etc.  Hugh Lynn thought the book was a good idea, but felt that the time was not right, because they hoped to have a film of Edgar Cayce coming out soon.  He thought it would conflict with the movie (which, unfortunately, never got made).

More than twenty years later, the original research that I painstakingly did in 1973, before the readings were available on CD Rom, became the basis for the Who Was Who.  Published in 1996, it not only documented the incarnations of the Edgar Cayce soul group, but listed the complete 7,499 entries gleaned from the 1,919 Life Readings and incarnations of others given through association. Relatives and acquaintances often incarnated in the same eras and were advised to parallel their Readings for past relationships, which was done in the Who Was Who.  With the exception of 150 universally recognized prominent personages, most of the incarnations were of ordinary people. A few noted persons, like Nicodemus and Bartholomew were mentioned in other types of readings for those individuals or in Life Readings for other people. Judas was confirmed as being a present acquaintance of one of the soul group.  Past lives of some prominent persons like Henry Ford (See [464]) and the Duke of Windsor (See [3031]) (who were in the earth plane at the time of the individual Readings) also came through. Most significantly, the past incarnations of Jesus and many more of the characters that interacted with Him, were identified by name.  (Continued on pp (v-ix) of the Who Was Who)

First To the Classes… (254 series)

The early books printed by the ARE Press were booklets stapled in the middle and displayed face front for sale.  They were treasure troves of information on specific subjects gleaned from the akashic level by the sleeping Edgar Cayce.   Those booklets, that are now collector’s items, became the publishing model for Astral Projections Press books that focused on independently verifying that information.

*Astral Projections: An Honorable Mission

Based on the quote that one should share knowledge, the Astral Projections books, that based on purchase order invoices have consistently been best sellers in the ARE of New York Book store, are still available on line moderately priced and at member discount through study groups.  Books will also be highlighted in coming issues of Astral Projections open for discussion and Q&A as a way of sharing knowledge.  Books/Music

About The Edgar Cayce Soul Group

A majority of persons who had Life Readings from Edgar Cayce had incarnations in ancient Egypt around 10,500 -10,400 B.C. during the period when Ra-Ta (an incarnation of Edgar Cayce) was the high priest.  The Readings indicated that those people had been attracted to the work of Edgar Cayce.  Within this wide group, was a smaller group of people, some of whom were physical relatives who were intimately involved with Cayce in the development of the Association of Research and Enlightenment.  Some members incarnated at various other times with Cayce, or incarnated as a group weaving intricate patterns of karma to be met. They incarnated as a group in Persia when Cayce was Uhjltd, the grandfather of Zoroaster, in the court of the Louis’ in France and in Ft. Dearborn in early America.  Many also incarnated in Atlantis, during the Biblical exodus and the return from captivity of the Jews, and when the master walked in the earth and during the early Christian era.

All of the Readings were given file numbers, which preserved the identity of the person to whom the Reading was given.  For anonymity all persons are identified by reading numbers, except in those cases where individuals consented to be identified, or have been identified in previous publications.
